What are credits?
Credits let you download and keep any Packt eBook or video for free, forever!
How do I get them?
Customers on an Annual or 18 Month plan will get a credit added to their account every month, plus the chance to earn a bonus credit each month if they complete at least 40 sections of learning - so get reading!
If you're on a Monthly subscription you won't get a credit added by default, but you still have the chance to earn one by completing 40 sections.
If you want to upgrade from a Monthly subscription to Annual (or one of our other plans) head to your subscription settings under Account and click Upgrade subscription
Where can I see how many credits I have?
You can check out how many credits you have remaining, and see your progress towards a bonus credit by clicking on My Library, then Credits.
How do I use a credit?
Search for any title
Select the title and visit the reader page for the title
You will find an option to "Use Credit for free eBook" at the extreme top left corner.
Click on "Confirm" and your title will be added to your library.
You can also download your owned titles. Just click on the download option present at the extreme right corner
Downloads are available in PDF, Mobi (not applicable for titles published after 25th August 2021) and ePub formats for Book and Video can be downloaded in MP4.
How else can I download eBooks and videos?
If you don't have any credits you can still download and keep any of the Free Learning books you've claimed. Or use the Packt App to download content to read on your phone or tablet!
