We do not offer the ability for you to download books or videos in formats like PDF, ePub, Mobi or MP4 during your trial.
After your trial ends
Once you become a paying customer on a monthly plan you can earn a free download credit by completing 40 sections of content each billing cycle. Use these credits to download and own any Packt eBook or video forever. Downloads are available in PDF, ePub, Mobi and MP4. We keep track of your sections completed and credit balance at My Credits.
If you have free titles in your account that have previously been available online only then these will be available for you to download. As a paying subscriber we let you download and own the titles you claimed for free. This feature will become unavailable if your paid subscription ends.
When you upgrade to an Annual or 18 Month plan
If you were to upgrade to an Annual or 18 Month plan then you would get 1 free download credit automatically every month. Plus you can also earn an additional download credit every month as described above.
