Pausing your subscription plan

Customers on a monthly plan can pause their subscription. Pause payments and access for a fixed term and come back when you're ready.

Note: Pausing is only available on monthly plans.

Customers now have greater control over their subscription plan and ongoing access to the Packt tech library. Pausing your subscription is a useful and much requested feature by customers who may not have time to use their subscription over a short period of time.

You can pause your subscription for a fixed term of 1, 2 or 3 months. On your next billing date your account will be paused for the length of time you choose. Once that time has elapsed the subscription will restart automatically, but can be restarted sooner than that if you wish.

To Pause:

  • Go to My Account

  • Under 'My Subscription' click Pause

  • Choose the pause period from the drop down

  • Click 'Pause'

Don't worry, we will email you just before your plan goes into a paused state. And we will email you shortly before your subscription plan resumes again.
