Expert Reading Lists will save you time and effort when it comes to finding exactly what you need in our vast library. We also think it's interesting to explore what other tech professionals are working on and why they've chosen certain titles to keep their knowledge up to date.

Each list has been handpicked by our most senior technical editors and comprise the very best titles from the Packt library across a range of languages, tools, concepts and job roles.

We’ve put together a few quick FAQs below, but if you want to dive straight into the list of Expert Reading Lists, use the button above.

FAQs

Who are Expert Reading Lists for?

Anyone who wants to jump straight to the highest quality and most relevant Packt titles on a particular language, tool, concept or job role - whether that's to advance your knowledge or just explore something new.

Is this a learning path?

No, these titles are not presented as an A-to-Z progression in a topic. Think of an Expert Reading List as more like a virtual bookshelf from another tech expert that you can dip in and out of, rather than a linear commitment.

How are the titles chosen?

For this beta launch, all titles have been selected by our in-house editors and category publishing managers. In future we plan to work with our wider community of experts and authors.

How do I find the right Expert Reading List?

Each list will have a clear heading and description to explain what you can hope to learn from it, and right now we have 41 lists across a range of topic areas. If you'd like to see a new Expert Reading List on a topic not currently covered, let us know.

How can I add a title from an Expert Reading List to my playlist?

When you open a title in the reader, in the right-hand menu you will be able to click the playlist icon if you'd like to either create a new playlist from that title or add it to one of your existing playlists.
